Winter Words Season Subscription Sale Ends January

"Book" your Winter Words tickets now while the
getting is good! Friday, January 20th, is the last day
to purchase season subscriptions (and the first day to
attend events) for the Aspen Writers' Foundation's popular
Winter Words series of readings and talks with notable
authors. The season subscription, offering one ticket
to each of the series' six events, provides the best deal
for literary aficionados and is the only way to guarantee
a seat at every presentation. Subscription purchasers
save up to 25% off of single ticket prices.
Winter Words launches on the same Friday with award-winning
journalist and historian Charles C. Mann,
author of the bestselling historical account 1491,
at the Given Institute. The series continues through March
with acclaimed authors Frank McCourt
(Jan. 28), Ann Patchett (Feb. 15), Lorraine
Adams (Feb. 23), Kent Haruf
(Mar. 4) and James Patterson (Mar. 18).
Winter Words subscriptions, a $120 value, are just $90
for AWF members* and $100 for non-members. Single tickets
are $20, with a $15 ticket offered to students/educators*
with school ID. Subscriptions are available until
noon on January 20 at the Wheeler Opera House (970.920.5770,
320 E. Hyman Avenue) and at the door of the Mann event,
starting at 5 pm.
* Discounted tickets for AWF members, students and
