Chad Harbach is an American writer and author of the bestselling novel, The Art of Fielding, which was named one of the ten best books of 2011 by TheNew York Times. He co-founded n + 1 literary magazine, a journal that focuses on social criticism, political commentary, essays, art, poetry, book reviews, and short fiction. Harbach contributes to the magazine as both a writer and an editor. He is a graduate of Harvard University and earned an MFA from the University of Virginia and currently lives in southern Wisconsin.

PARKING + TRANSPORTATION Parking at the Aspen Meadows is limited; please carpool or take public transportation, if possible. Free street parking is available in the surrounding residential neighborhood Monday through Friday, for up to two hours at a time.
The Meadows offers transportation to and from downtown Aspen departing from the Reception Building every hour and half hour. The town shuttle does not run unless there is a requested pick-up or drop-off. Please contact the Aspen Meadows Resort to schedule a pick-up in the Aspen core at 970-544-7800.
The Roaring Fork Transportation Authority (RFTA) Crosstown Shuttle provides access to the West End of Aspen and the Music Tent parking lot. The drop-off point is a 5-10 minute walk (north) through the Aspen Institute’s campus to the Doerr-Hosier Center. The Crosstown shuttle runs from Rubey Park in the center of town to the Music Tent parking lot at :06 and :36 after each hour, and from the parking lot back to town at :15 and :45 after each hour.
