| LYRICALLY SPEAKING
“Lyrically Speaking shines a
light into the often dark, mysterious places where songs
come from. It embraces the genuine joy of timeless music
performed by the creators themselves, and emphasizes the
understanding that songs do, indeed, start somewhere.
It’s a rare and intimate opportunity to look into
the interior of the creative process,
and then instantly hear and enjoy the wonders of that
creation.”
American Songwriter Magazine
Launched
in 2006 to critical acclaim, Lyrically Speaking is an
story/song series celebrating songwriters and their
lyrics. The program explores the written word expressed
through music by bringing songwriters to Aspen to discuss
and perform their lyrical creations.
