Jonathan Wells' poetry collection, Train Dance, was
released in 2011 to rave reviews, including praise from poet Dorianne
Laux who hailed the collection of “poems [that] go from 0 to 60 in under
1.5 seconds.” Jonathan Wells’ work as poet and editor has appeared
previously in The New Yorker, Paris Review Daily, Poetry International, Hayden’s Ferry, Alaska Quarterly Review, and many other publications. He edited MTV’s Third Rail: The Poetry of Rock and Roll,
which was published in 2007. A runner up in the 2009 Robert Dana Prize
for Poetry judged by Tony Hoagland, his poems have been included in the
anthology Conversation Pieces: poems that talk to other poems. Jonathan Wells is a former Aspen local, a member of the AWF’s National Council, and a current resident of New York City.
